tbi bank expands access to financing in medical practices by integrating its financing solution into the dROOT platform

tbi bank is expanding its presence in medical services financing through a new partnership with dROOT, a Romanian management platform for medical practices and clinics, used by more than 1,200 healthcare facilities. Through this collaboration, tbi's financing solution is integrated directly into the software used by medical practices, making it easier and more flexible for patients to access financing options for the medical services they need.

The integration allows medical practices using dROOT to offer tbi financing directly within their existing workflows, without separate processes or additional solutions. For patients, this means faster access to flexible payment options, while medical practices can incorporate financing into a platform they already use to manage appointments, patient records, medical imaging, documentation, billing and reporting.

“Healthcare is an area where quick access to financing can play an important role in a patient’s decision-making process. By integrating tbi’s financing solution directly into dROOT, we are simplifying the process for medical practices while making financing more accessible to patients. This is a natural step in our strategy to bring flexible payment solutions closer to the point at which the need arises,” said Sergiu Cioflica, Regional Partners Enabling Sales Manager, tbi bank.

The partnership expands tbi bank’s ecosystem in the healthcare sector by embedding financing directly into the digital tools medical practices already use in their day-to-day operations. Developed in Romania and operating for over 13 years, dROOT is built around the One Point Entry principle, bringing together the essential functions for managing medical practices and clinics within a single platform. The integration of tbi’s solution now adds a financing component that can be accessed directly through the platform.

“We have built our platform around the idea that medical practices should be able to manage as many processes as possible in one place. Integrating tbi’s financing solution supports this approach and gives medical practices another useful tool in their interactions with patients. For us, digitalisation is about more than administrative efficiency. It is also about making the patient experience simpler and more flexible”, said Palotás Tibor, Administrator, dROOT Solutions.
