Sphera Franchise Group, the leader of the local food service market, is expanding its Taco Bell network in Romania with the opening of a new restaurant at Vulcan Value Center in Bucharest. The new unit is the brand’s eighth location in the capital and its 19th in Romania. Together with the restaurant in Chișinău, the network now reaches a total of 20 locations across Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The investment in the new restaurant amounts to approximately €750,000.

In Bucharest, where we already operate eight restaurants, each new opening provides us with deeper insights into customer preferences and how we can adapt our offering to meet their needs. The new restaurant, an inline unit, is situated within Vulcan Value Center, on 88B Mihail Sebastian Street, in Bucharest’s District 5. The unit, which spans approximately 200 square meters, is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and is operated by a team of 20 employees. Customers can enjoy their meals in the restaurant, order through delivery partners, or choose the take-away option.
Taco Bell is the fastest growing brand in Sphera Franchise Group portofolio. In the first semester of 2026, the brand’s sales went up 11,3% compared to the similar period of 2025, reaching 55,7 million lei. The evolution was also supported by the contribution of the restaurants opened in the last 12 months.
The new unit adds also 20 new employment opportunities. For a Crew Member (Kitchen staff or Cashier), the net income can reach up to 3,600 lei starting from the third month of employment, and the compensation package includes the base salary, meal vouchers, and performance bonuses granted according to internal criteria. Previous experience is not required; what matters most is a positive attitude, motivation and a willingness to learn and grow.
Taco Bell entered the Romanian market in 2017 and is part of the Sphera Franchise Group portfolio, next to KFC, Pizza Hut, Cioccolatitaliani, Hard Rock Cafe and wagamama. The network in Romania has 19 restaurants in 10 cities: Bucharest, Brașov, Constanța, Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Timișoara, Ploiești, Bacău, Iași and Craiova. In the second trimester of 2026, the Group inaugurated the first Taco Bell restaurant outside Romania, in Chișinău, within Shopping MallDova center. The brand also inaugurated in the summer a seasonal restaurant within the entertainment project Nibiru, in Costinești.
